Nollywood actor Tony Umez now so broke, settles for bad movies

Do you guys remember Tony Umez - the actor that made his debut into Nollywood in 1994, with the movie, Died Wretched: Buried in N2.3m Casket.
So far, he has featured in over 200 English and Yoruba movies.

Blood of the Orphan, Fire on the Mountain, Out of Fire, Millionaires Club, No Rival: Ko si Orogun, Oyato, Tin ba Taiye Wa, Billionaires club, Ikaiko Restaurant, among many others are some of the movies he featured in.However, of late, he has not featured in movies whether local or otherwise except in a soft badographic movie, Room 027!

I was disappointed, many of his fans were disappointed as well!
Well, new findings reveal that he acted in the bad movie because he's so broke - so says PUNCH.

Man Murders 6 People In Front Of Girlfriend To Prove He Is Still A Man

A Russian man who killed 6 colleagues in a shooting spree at his work place has revealed he did it because he could not made love with his female colleague.

30-year-old Dmitry Vinogradov accused the 6 colleagues of convincing hie girlfriend, Anna Kaznikova to end the relationship before he shot them.

No harm came to Ms Kaznikova as Vinogradov let her flee the bloodbath with no physical wound after making her witness the massacre.

While explaining himself, he told police he wanted to prove his masculine prowess to her despite his impotence in bed during a short holiday they shared in an historic Russian city.

He says:

'In the autumn we went for a weekend to Suzdal. There Anna and I had our first sexual intimacy. But it was not a success because of my shyness and my sexual failure, which had happened to me previously.

'After this, Anna drew back and stopped communicating with me.'

He explained that with a gun he 'felt much more confident as a man' and that he had wanted Anna to 'appreciate' him.

Speaking slowly and looking down at the floor, Vinogradov told the court: 'I want the victims to excuse me. I plead guilty to murder and attempted murder.'

He went on: 'I did not want to kill anybody. I don't understand how it happened. I felt bad for a year before that. Maybe I was born like this.'

In a confused and rambling statement, he continued: 'I wanted to set fire to our office or just to shoot around. But I did not want to kill anybody. When I bought a rifle, I felt much more confident as a man.'

COLD JUSTICE: Cultist Dies After molesting 5-Month-Old Pregnant Woman

A notorious cult member, identified as Tunde Lawal, was reportedly shot in the chest during a clash with rival groups after he and another cult member identified as Para Alabi had accosted and molested a 5-month pregnant woman.

Lawal, 23 was reported to be a member of the Eiye cult group terrorising the community and reportedly met his death in the evening of Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

The duo reportedly left the woman unconscious at the scene of the rape before finding their way to where Lawal met his death. It was reported that barely an hour after Lawal and his partner-in-crime arrived at a beer pub, about 12 members of a rival cult group arrived in a big bus.

They headed straight for the place where the Eye group was seated. Almost immediately a heated argument ensued among them and members of the two groups reportedly started firing into the air as if to scare the other group and when Lawal wanted to engage the leader of the opposing group in the fight, he was shot twice in his chest.

He immediately slumped and died, lying in the pool of his blood. About six other members of the two groups were severely wounded before others took to their heels.

According to the community leader, “That boy (Lawal) and his gang are thorn in the flesh of everyone of us in this area. The most annoying aspect of it is that we heard that the parents of most of these bad boys live close to us here, but they could not call their sons to order”.

A police source at Alade Police Station claimed that some relatives of Lawal came to the station to demand for documents to enable them collect his remains from the mortuary, which they were immediately issued.
