Oga at the top movie debuts

Oga at the top movie debuts

Call it the director’s creativity or mischief, the movie, Oga at the top, is out. Quite similar to the viral ‘Oga at the top’ quote, the movie features popular Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, also known as Osuofia.

Although the viral quote stopped trending on Twitter after a week of dominance, Nigerians put their creativity to test as they made T-shirts, mugs, songs and jokes about the error made by the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Obafaiye Shem, during an interview on Channels Televison.

Efforts to reach Osuofia proved futile as his mobile phone was switched off when Saturday Beats tried to reach him. He did not also reply to a text message sent to his phone

My Husband's Ex-Girlfriends Send Him Nakéd Pictures

Please I need your advice. I am married to my best friend of 17years and we've been married for 6 years now.

He is 36 years old and I am 33 years old. He is a very nice man, apart from his lust for women and his blackberry.

He has 1001girlfriends via blackberry. It started with his married ex-girlfriends sending him their nakéd pictures.

Now he has switched to younger girls. I have their pictures in a safe place. I am tempted to post their pictures online maybe, they will let him rest or he will let them rest.

He thinks him been on bb does not affect our relationship but it does.

He stays up all night chatting and hardly have time for séx. His conversation with these girls is so raw but if I try to flirt with him at home and use the "D" word,"F" word or the "P" word its war.

What should I do?

African leaders meet with President Obama. Where's our president?

The leaders of four African nations met with President Barack Obama yesterday March 28th at the White House. They leaders were: Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone, Macky Sall of Senegal, Joyce Banda of Malawi and José Maria Pereira Neves of Cape Verde.

Why would the president of the most populous black nation in Africa not be invited? I'm so mad! *yimu* Lol.

Rihanna tells Beyonce to bow down as she's named most influential pop star

Rihanna was just named UK's most influential pop star ahead of Beyonce, who came in second, and in celebration of that, the Barbados beauty shaded the heck out of Beyonce. She posted the news on her instagram page then basically told Beyonce to bow down, bitch. LMAO. You're a superstar, Rihanna...but Beyonce is a legend! :-). See more after the cut...

President Jonathan's 2013 Easter Message to the Nation

Easter Message from our President. See it below...
Dear Compatriots,

I greet and felicitate with you all as we celebrate Easter which commemorates the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ after his redemptive self-sacrifice for the eternal salvation of mankind.
Irrespective of our religion or faith, all holidays provide us with a fresh opportunity to establish stronger bonds with our family, friends and all those around us for more enduring, harmonious and beneficial relationships.
See the rest after the cut...

As we celebrate this year’s Easter therefore, I urge all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness with all members of their communities no matter their ethnicity, religious beliefs or places of origin.

By now, it ought to be an accepted fact amongst us that our immense potential for greatness in the comity of nations derives in the main from our collective strength as a country of close to 170 million people and the acclaimed richness of our diverse human resources and natural endowments.

It follows, therefore, that to successfully achieve our vision of becoming one of the most dominant nations on the global stage in the shortest possible time, we must stay together as a people and continue to effectively resist by all possible means, the evil machinations of global terrorists and their misguided domestic accomplices who seek to provoke turmoil, hatred and harmful divisions among us.

I assure all Nigerians that our security agencies, armed forces and I will continue to fully discharge our constitutional responsibilities for protecting the unity and territorial integrity of this country with all the powers and forces at our disposal.

We must have peace, security and stability to effectively implement our agenda for national transformation in all parts of the country and we shall continue to work ceaselessly to re-establish the prerequisite conditions for nationwide progress and development.

For your part, dear countrymen and women, I urge you to continue to exhibit restraint and understanding in the face of seeming provocations. Those who mindlessly and indiscriminately attack churches, schools, health workers, motor-parks, banks and ordinary road users must be seen as they truly are: the brainwashed pawns of international terrorism.

They do not represent any true religion or section of the country and we must never play into their hands by succumbing to their nefarious ploys to incite religious, ethnic hatred and division among us.

It is my hope and prayer that as we celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, his lessons of self-sacrifice, brotherly love, placing others before self, tolerance, obedience, respect for lawful authorities, dutifulness, diligence, honesty, justice and fairness to all will take firmer root in our beloved country and help us to overcome present challenges and build the more peaceful, secure, united, progressive and prosperous nation of our dreams.

I wish you all happy Easter celebrations.

Nigerian Ladies Paid To Get Pregnant For Childless Couples

PM News
March 28, 2013

Nigerian ladies have devised another survival strategy by getting pregnant for childless couples for a fee.

These ladies, called surrogate mothers, have even taken to the internet to advertise themselves to couples who are desperately in need of children.
Surrogacy is a process whereby willing ladies are contacted by either couples or fertility clinics to help carry pregnancies on behalf of childless couples.
It often happens where married women find it difficult getting pregnant or where they have issues with their wombs.

Through medical science, a couple’s sperm and egg are collected and fertilised and then implanted into the surrogate mother who in-turn carries the pregnancy till it is due for delivery. The surrogate mother may then be flown out of the country or kept away from prying eyes and monitored till she is delivered of the baby.

Most of these Nigerian women who registered on www.surrogatefinder.com, have their photographs on the website with assurances to their prospective customers that they would offer effective service.
The website, which listed the surrogate mothers according to their states of residence, also has a breakdown of their data. It also has registered sperm and egg donors with their details.

Lagos state has 103 registered surrogate mothers on the list and this is the highest. The state is followed by Edo with 14.

While Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city has seven of such registered surrogate mothers, Enugu, Rivers, and Ogun have five each. The list further shows that Delta has four surrogate mothers.
Other states on the website include Anambra, Kaduna, Ondo and Cross River with two each and Imo, Akwa-Ibom, Benue, Ekiti, Kwara and Oyo with one each. In Lagos, Ipaja has the highest number at 13. This is closely followed by Ikeja, 12, Lagos Island, 11, Surulere, eight, Bariga, and Eko with five each, Ikoyi, Isolo, Ikotun, Oshodi, and Alimosho with four each.

Igando and Badagry areas of the state have three, Agege, Apapa, Isheri, and Ebute Metta have two each while Abule Ijesha, Ejigbo, Amuwo, Idi Oro, Oworonshoki, Maryland, Jibowu, Ifako, and Egbe have one each. Ruth, one of the registered surrogate mothers, who resides in Asaba and aged 23, said she would not mind becoming a surrogate mother for couples.

She described herself as having brown hair and brown eyes. She said she is an honest person interested in making families happy.
“I know what’s like not having a child of your own. I want to give you that gift and hope to bring joy and blessing to your home,” she stated in her message to prospective customers.

Daughter Pounds Parents To Death In Delta

The killing of a retired soldier and his wife by their 32-year-old lunatic daughter left sympathizers in tears yesterday at Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The retired Army Warrant Officer, Mr Jonah Elili, and his wife gave up the ghost after they were hit with a pestle by the daughter identified as Elo, sources say.

No one knew about their gruesome murder until a neighbour went to the deceased couple’s shop to buy some items when she found the lifeless bodies of the retired soldier, 75 and his wife, 65, were reportedly discovered in the early hours of yesterday.

According to a source, the neighbour had after knocking at their door for several minutes without response, peeped into the house and was shocked to find the husband and wife lying in a pool of blood.

The source said the woman scared by the gory sight, raised alarm which drew the attention of people in the neighbourhood. The last they knew or heard about the family was when the retired Warrant Officer came out to drag his daughter who ran outside unclad, back into the house and locked her up, the source added.

The couple was blessed with seven children (two boys and five girls), including the one that was afflicted with insanity who the source said had been roaming about the community.

Elo had since been detained at the Oleh Police Station. She was alleged to have told detectives that she reportedly killed her parents because they hated her.

“My parents hate me. They locked me up in a room where they first hit me before I retaliated with a pestle. I saw blood and that is all I know,” Elo reportedly said.

Confirming the story, a senior Police officer in Oleh said a signal had been sent to the appropriate authority, and the matter would be transferred to the Delta state police headquarters in Asaba for further investigations.

WHY TONTO DIKEH MUST BE STOPPED?

I have watched with patient annoyance, I have listen with patient distress, to the sights and sounds of our dear actress turn singer Tonto Dikeh. Like many others, I chose not to talk about her but I was forced to know how wrong I was for keeping silent by the words of Alibaba and OJB, two eminent personalities that means a lot to the entertainment industry.

Alibaba once tweeted “Playing a song of an artiste that you know is not good enough is no encouragement you are spoiling the market”, I don’t know what he had in mind. In an online interview with OJB by the crew of Information Nigeria, he said

Foremost, I must say I admire Tonto Dikeh’s confidence and doggedness, but to what avail is it when used in a wrong way. A cutlass is a good tool in the hand of a farmer, without which we cannot get food to it, but that same cutlass can kill! Despite her confidence there should be substance. Is music so hard to learn that she cannot even get average in a year?

Tonto Dikeh has a well publicised relationship with one of Africa’s best music producers, DON JAZZY. She once took to twitter to say she was deflowered by DON JAZZY and he replied saying “Me wey I still be V”. I don’t care about what they had together, my point is this, she enjoys a very good relationship with Don Jazzy, making it easy for her to have approached DON Jazzy if she truly wanted to make some good music. My opinion is this, it is either Don Jazzy already told her she cannot sing or she personally knows she can’t and decides not to talk about it to Don Jazzy.

Many upcoming artistes out there have seen their career rescinded due to annoying words from, DJs, Media personnel and the likes and yet they make music that are 10 times better than that of Tonto Dikeh. The only difference is that she was a star before she started singing making it is obvious that all we worship in the entertainment industry is money and fame not True talent and ability.

If a lady with the world at her feet and the cream of the industry at her beck and call, comes up with a song as poor as “HI” (Auto tune on a false tone (falsetto), how woeful?) and we accepted it, While there are several up and coming acts out there that can make music has good as that of Wizkid (I have met a lot that are better) still roaming the streets.

This makes me wonder if Nigerian music has a body in place to monitor the type of music produced and released to the market. I am not against Tonto Dikeh singing, I am against her singing NONSENSE! If she can learn to sing well I’d be the first to clap for her once it is good music.

Several individuals in several capacities have built Nigerian Entertainment Industry (especially the music sector) to this point of international recognition. Should we watch with folded arms as someone crumbles it recklessly? Is it true that we only work for money not passion in this industry? Will the labour of our heroes (and heroines) past go in vain. We have to stand up and support good music! True talent and a not just desire to be popular, a lust for fame! Let us remember that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, Tonto Dikeh has to be stopped for the sake of the talented youths out there!

Davido explains this photo of him in bed with a groupie

Davido was a guest on Rubbing Minds this past Sunday, and the host, Ebuka Obi Uchedu asked him about this photo of him in bed with a babe. Below is how he explained it:

"I was just sleeping and she probably just slipped in. I don't know where, how anything happened. I don't know her. I was in an apartment then and everything was just free. Maybe my door was unlocked or something like that and she slipped in and took the picture. I moved out to my new house, big house, you can't try anything, the security is tight."

He said the girl later called his people to apologize to him. Davido also answered questions about Wizkid, his new song Gobe, if he slapped his ex-manager Asa and many more questions. See the videos after the cut...

Rick Ross Addresses Date Rape Lyric

Rick Ross has been catching heat for a controversial rap lyric that appears to endorse date rape. He featured in a rap song where he spit:
“Put molly all in her champagne/she aint even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that/she aint even know it."
In an interview on New Orleans radio station Q93.3, Rick says his lyric was misunderstood:
"I wanted to come down to the radio station. There is certain things you can’t tweet, you have to verbalize. I want to make sure this is clear, that woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used. I would never use the term rape. As far as my camp, hip hop don’t condone that. The streets don’t condone that. Nobody condones that. So I wanted to reach out to all the queens that’s on my timeline, all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that have been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding. We don’t condone rape and I’m not with that."

'We made love for two hours before she died' - Akolade Arowolo

Akolade Arowolo, the 31-year-old man standing trial for allegedly killing his banker wife, Titilayo, on June 24, 2011 said he and the deceased kissed and had sex for two hours on the day she died.
He said:
“That day she died was my birthday. I see birthdays as a new year in one’s life and I usually pray at the early hours of that day. I prayed till 3am but was woken by my wife’s kiss. We had sex for almost two hours and it was very good as we hadn’t done such in a while. We later prayed and talked about how we could improve on our relationship as well as business opportunities.”
Akolade said he only slapped his wife once throughout their three-year marriage, adding that their marriage was not a violent one as alleged.

Akolade, while being led in evidence by the defence counsel, Olanrewaju Ajanaku, told an Ikeja High Court on Thursday that he met his wife at Lagos State University in 2005 while he was taking classes for a postgraduate degree.

He said they grew close and became good friends and he got her pregnant in 2008 and they got married in November that year.

He said, “We were great friends and lovers but that is not to say that we didn’t have challenges. In the course of our relationship, there were times people commended us because we knew how to counsel people.

“We were everywhere together and I took her to work on many occasions while sometimes, I would leave the car for her to take to work while I would use public transport. Our challenges were like those of many young couples. We disagreed on many things.

“For example, a few months before our daughter, Olamide, was born, we were making plans for the baby when she demanded N500, 000 to buy all necessary things. I told her I didn’t have that much on me and she should accept N100, 000 but she refused and left for her parents’ home.”
Akolade described his wife as hot-tempered adding that she always flared up whenever she could not have her way, earning her the nickname, Thatcher.

He said a few months into the marriage, he noticed that his wife’s attitude had changed and he sought advice from a friend who told him to leave the house whenever there was an argument. He said one day, his wife got him very angry and he slapped her only once.

He said, “One Friday, I went for a vigil but did not come back the following morning. I went to stay with a friend because I wanted my wife to miss me. However I started missing her and I went back home that same day. On getting home, I met a man in the house whom my wife identified as her colleague. The man left immediately after.

“I went through her phone and noticed that she had called her father, George Oyakhire, an ex-boyfriend of hers and an unidentified number. Later, I asked her why she didn’t call me when I did not come home but she said she did not have airtime. I then asked her that where did she then get airtime to call the three people I noticed on her phone.

“She flared up and said I should never go through her phone again. She then started to call her ex-boyfriend in my presence. I got angry, grabbed her phone and smashed it against the wall. She took my phone and smashed it as well, so I slapped her. She immediately left the house and went to her parents’ place.”

He said his wife was also secretive and had even confessed to having an abortion without his consent adding that the abortion later led to menstrual complications.
Akolade, who claimed to be an ordained pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, said he was not jobless as reported but was an auditor and had even worked on big government contracts.
He maintained that his wife had on numerous occasions left him to be with her parents sometimes for months.

Justice Lateefa Okunnu adjourned the matter till May 22, 2013, for further hearing, standing down the case after Akolade broke down and could not continue with his testimony.

Robbers Write Letters To Residents Of Lambe In Ogun [Print Inserts]

We Are Coming For You” – Robbers Write Residents In Ogun State

Residents of Lambe area of Ogun state have received an audacious letter from some fearless robbers urging them to give them a welcoming hospitality when they attack their community in the coming days.

The daredevil men of the underworld who described themselves as friends of the community said in the letter written in Yoruba language and pasted conspicuously on many walls on Akin Akindele, Community Road and Jelili Popoola Streets, that they are coming ‘very soon’ and are not afraid of the police or other security agencies.

The letter reads, “You residents of this area be prepared to receive your friends very soon. If you like, inform the police or your security men or OPC, you will just lose your lives. What is important is to cooperate with us and to get ready to give us a warm welcome,” the robbers said in the short letter.

“If you like, inform the police or your security men or OPC, you will just lose your lives,” they warned.

The letter ends with these words, “We your friends, robbers”.

Panic and confusion had since enveloped the community with a resident describing Lambe as ‘the playground of armed robbers.’

“Lambe has become the play ground of armed robbers. Incessant robbery attacks have forced landlords to flee the area and are now tenants in other places,” he said, pleading that his name should not be mentioned.

Landlords and tenants in the area are so confused that they do not know what to do and are prepared for the worst. Due to fear of the unknown, residents of the community are so scared to talk about the issue.

A resident, who does not want his name disclosed, said he will not inform the police as there might be mass killings.

“Besides, the police and the OPC cannot be trusted because they may be aware of their coming and will not do anything,” he said.
A female resident said her family will relocate from the community this week. She said her family needs money to celebrate Easter, explaining that the residents are worried because of the lack of security in the country.

She revealed that none of the residents wants to talk about it because “the robbers might be living among us.”
“ I have warned my husband to stay away from this matter because you do not know who is who in the area, “she said.

Another resident in the community said since they received the letter, most residents do not sleep again at night and the landlords and tenants are afraid to even inform the police or talk about it because those behind the letters could be among them.

According to information made available to DailyPost, one of suspects behind the impudent letters was arrested in the night at about 1.00 am and handed over to the police at Ajunwo Police Division.

However, efforts to reach the station’s DPO were futile as his phone rang endlessly unanswered.

Why We Make Sex Look Real In Our Movies —Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Okoro

Yvonne Okoro wormed herself into the hearts of movie lovers in 2002. The actress who recently premiered her first production Contract featuring Hlomla Dandala at the Silverbird Cinema, Ikeja got a lot of approval from friends and colleagues for a beautiful outing. In this interview, the petite actress talks about her new ground with AMAA, why she is still single amongst other issues.

CONGRATULATIONS on the success of your movie premiere

Thank you very much.

What was the idea behind Contract?

We had different scripts, but ended up choosing this one. The idea is to shed more light on surrogate parenthood. This is an issue that has not been tapped into right now in Africa. A lot of people are using surrogate these days, but have nothing to do with the woman. They pay the woman to have a baby for them and that is all. It is one of those issues that are not talked about, and we felt it will be a good thing to talk about but in a funny way.

How did you get Hlomla Dandala to feature the movie?

We had a long list of people, and he has not been used in any major West African movie apart from South African, Jacob’s Cross. Also I didn’t want the usual faces which are either Ghollywood or Nollywood. We wanted someone outside. And we were also thinking on how to breach the gap between Nollywood and Ghollywood. We felt it has to be an Africa thing and when we were checking, his name came up first. I must tell he is a great actor.

Tell us how you were able to showcase the three stages of pregnancy without any flops?

With this movie, we didn’t want the usual style of pregnancy. So I went to London to order for the first stage, second stage, and third stage baby bumps. That’s why you didn’t see any knots at the back. The baby bumps is just like a swim thing that you just wear.

What about the scene of the Quadruplets?

(Laughs) We got somebody who had gave birth at the hospital. And they were very happy to be part of it. Ken is very good at technicality and was able to bring one baby to become four. I don’t know how they did it, but one baby will come and then they will take it from a different angle. We were lucky because they were twins and we kind of took them at different activities and time.

Being your first, how long did it take you to do the whole production and how much did it cost?

It took us about a month to shoot and another four to six months to do the post production. A lot was put in it. I don’t want to disclose the amount. Because I wanted to bring different people, I wanted every detail to be perfect. I didn’t say I want to do a low budget movie and have it quickly done. I mean that is the reason I wanted to do my own movie and be able to control want I wanted.

Your first movie and you have six nominations for AMAA 2013. How do you feel?

I don’t think there are words to describe the feeling seriously. I knew the movie was a great one because everyone that has watched the movie from different time has said a lot with attention to details. An actress was actually the one who called me and said you know you got six nominations in AMAA and the only Ghanaian actress nominated too. I got up and started screaming and my sister asked me if I am surprised. Well I think I am more attached to it because it is my first. It is different when I get nominations for other people’s works. It is a great feeling. Being the only Ghanaian actress nominated, they had better give it to me (laughs). I was surprised; Lydia Forson was the one who tweeted me. The first thing I thought about was pressure, because there is that pressure then to succeed.

How do you intend to keep up this tempo that you have attained?

Maybe I have to pray more. Really it is been challenging because everybody expects your next movie to be better. That is where the pressure comes in, the pressure for you to snap. You tend not to live your life or be you. You tend to live the life and expectations of others. That is not what I want. I want to be able to be me. I don’t want they say this movie is good, which means my next movie I need to put in more money. I want to be able to do what my heart and soul tells me. There is that challenge, but also the pressure to remain humble. That is the thing about my family, when sometimes my mum would send me to get something and I will be like ‘Moma’, do you know who you are talking to? And she will like will you go and get that thing before I get angry. And I am like you guys don’t respect me o. At times we will be walking on the road and people would like do you know her, she is on TV. It is like she has totally forgotten who I am. They have a way of humbling you, to make you feel like nothing.

Why are you taking the movies around the countries?

Well with the kind of money I put into it, I need to get it back. Also, it is a very good movie and I wanted everybody to see it. I just want people to see and feel how a good movie can be too. I have premiered it in Ghana, London and Nigeria; it will be going to Gambia soon and America.

Tell us your experience as a first timer?

I think I was lucky to have Sparrow Production on board because they were able to organise most of the logistics. All I did was to pay the money and get involved. From the location to props, they were more involved. Mostly what they do is like get three locations and call me to come and check them out. So I go with the Director, Shirley and they ask which I prefer. We all bring our heads together and choose the one that is the best. It was a lot of work and I respect producers a lot now. It made me realize that I am a terrible producer. I am just hoping that with my next one, I will be more involved

How did you come about the name Chinyere and Okoro?

My dad is a Nigerian, an Igbo man from Abia, married to a Ghanaian woman. My full names are Yvonne Chinyere Okoro Okereke. I am supposed to speak Igbo, I speak some like come and go and get me something. (Laughs)

Tell us about the movie you did in France?

I was in school and it was a very low budget movie that the school wanted to do. I auditioned for the movie because I was bored. It was in French. I auditioned and the woman was amazed and she said I am a good actor. So she sat me down and told me to go into acting once I better my French. And my friend said to her that I was a Ghanaian actress. She asked if I would love to be in the movie so I said I would love to but my French would be funny. So we got to work and practiced and it went very well. I saw the trailer recently when I went there, but I don’t think it is out yet.

What are your doing aside promoting Contract at the moment?

I have a playground I am building for the less privilege, I mean the mentally handicapped. That is what I have been putting my time into. And I will also be on set of Adam’s Apple season II.

Is building this playground a means to get money from the Government?

I am sure there are times that people here and there do that but I am sure that there are others who have a good mindset too for what they are doing. For me, I didn’t get any sponsor. It is my own personal money, I took it out, and I said I wanted to do something without having to go from one door to the other. I didn’t want people to come and say that I am using the money I collected from them inappropriately so I said I would use my money to build the playground. Recently, what I did was to organise a party and it was my money too. I never wanted to have an NGO, because I wanted to be able to do what I want to do. I didn’t want it to be on a particular thing, I want to be able to help in different situation. I want to do it in such a way that, every year on my birthday I choose a particular thing I want to do for the society. Maybe there will be time, when I will need help, but now for me it is more like a thank you thing to my fans. I do have an NGO which I started two weeks ago. It is a home for the old. I opened it in my late grandma’s name Elizabethan Senior Home. This one too I didn’t get funds from anywhere. I wake up and if I say I want to do something, I do it. Because I always put a portion of whatever I make aside for projects that I want to do.

What is the reason for the humanitarian work you are doing for the society?

I think I am just blessed and my mom always tells me not to forget where I came from. Sincerely I don’t come from a poor family. I and my family have been blessed throughout. I have always thought of other people, where they came from and the ups and down they face. And I have had it very rich from family to the kind of schools I went to how I lived. I can’t forget, because He has done so much for my family to live the kind of life we have lived. So I had to do something on my own to my fans. And I think that is the reason I haven’t gone to anybody for help.

Why are you still living with your parents?

They refuse to let me move out. I think they still want to keep me grounded. They say it is not the African tradition. They said I have to get married before I move out. So I am still there. I remember recently I said to them I have seen a house, and they were like where, when you get a husband and your husband takes your hand, you can move out. My father is very traditional. I think all these are just t keep you grounded. But I don’t mind, I don’t pay bills. So I just said to myself why am I even fighting? So I am taking full advantage, I am using them very well and they are allowing me. So I am very happy.

Are there plans to bring the man home soon?

(Laughs) I am very single right now. They will have to wait for a while when God gives me the right man. I think I want to continue living with them. I am single and I think I haven’t had the time too. I am always on my guard because you want to know the kind of people who come to you. I don’t want to talk about my private life. When it happens, it happens.

Why do Ghanaian actresses love exposing their body?

I think sometimes when you are acting, you feel like doing something that you want to be remembered for. Maybe in the course you overdo it. It depends on the script. I think in Ghana we wanted to start something, like a Trans-setter. I remember in those days, when people are kissing and they do it tackily, and we are thinking if you can’t kiss, then don’t do it. So I think we ended up doing it well or we are overdoing it. The truth of the matter is it exists in our culture. Our culture does not allow topics like sex and nudity but in a way sometimes I think we are also being hypocritical. A Hollywood movie will come, we will watch it and be happy and compliment them. I think if you are going to do nudity, you should not do it in a tacky way. It should be done with what will conform to our culture. I think it is about choice, if you think you want to remove yourself and think it will help your character and you don’t have a problem with it, it is fine.

So far, have you done any sex scene?

Someone like Shirley does sex scenes, but they have a way of doing it and it does not look tacky. I don’t do it because when I go back home I will be spanked. I remember for Adam Apple, there was a sex scene and I said to her, I can’t do it. You have to let me know how you are going to do it. So she said we are not going to do it in a tacky way. You sit down you kiss the guy and we take it from different angle. So there were times that we were not even kissing at all. We were just moving our heads and then they will say cut. And then we lay down and they will drop the hand of your bra and top and take the upper part from different angle and that is it. In the end, it looks like you are unclad. That day we were doing it, she had to sack everybody. So it was remaining Shirley, I, the Director and the Cameraman.

Nine Dangerous Words Used By Women

Sometime ladies struggle to verbally express their emotions, so they use simple words to answer question unsimple questions. Luckily one very smart person has finally decoded the meaning to these words we ladies use...

1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!

5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That’s Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how ‘n when you will pay for your mistake.
.
7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question,or Faint. Just say you’re welcome.
.
8.) Whatever : Is a women’s way of saying F*** YOU!
.
9.) Don’t worry about it, I’ll do it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to Turbo, then RUN!!!

GOV AKPABIO IS LIKE A FATHER TO MY WIFE---2Face Idibia

The superlative wedding of Tuface and Annie might have come and gone, the impression left behind will forever lingers. One of which is the public outcry about the reason for the lavished gifts on the couple by Governor Akpabio. The man of the house, Tuface has responded critics and we believe it’s a final answer to every question.

“I don’t feel strangely for getting support for our wedding, I am just happy and that is the most important thing. My wife is from the Akwa Ibom State and the governor of the state is like a father to her.

The governor said he was doing all these because he loves his daughter and I don’t think I should feel anyhow because a father is showering his daughter blessings. I don’t believe anybody should feel anyhow, it is a celebration mood, so everybody should be happy,” 2Baba, as he’s fondly called responded.

On their choice of Dubai for the white wedding, Tuface said it’s more spiritual than physical. Before they left for Dubai, he explained that, “I think there is this spiritual connection to it, but I don’t want to disclose it now.

Let’s just say that we love Dubai and we also discovered that it was a perfect venue for us. Contrary to what people are saying that we chose Dubai because of the crowd, we thought of a perfect place for the white wedding and the idea of Dubai came up. I don’t know about crowd control. We just want to have the best of the moment and make sure things go rightly.

There is nothing more to it. It does not have to do with controlling the people or anything. The fact is that you can’t run away from the people. Anywhere you go, you will meet people and these people have come to celebrate with us.”

The Forbes Five: Hip-Hop's Wealthiest Artists 2013

1. Diddy - $580 million: The bulk of the Bad Boy Records founder’s wealth comes from non-musical ventures, namely his deal with Diageo’s Ciroc. The agreement entitles him to eight-figure annual payouts and a nine-figure windfall if the brand is ever sold—and Ciroc’s value has never been higher

2. Jay Z - $475 million: He’s still rolling in cash from megadeals like his $204 million Rocawear sale in 2007 and his $150 million pact with Live Nation the following year. He continues to hold stakes in Roc Nation, Carol’s Daughter, the Brooklyn Nets and, more significantly, the Barclays Center itself, while adding new partnerships with the likes of Duracell, Budweiser and Bacardi’s D’ussé Cognac

See the last three after the cut...

3. Dr Dre - $350 million: It's thanks mostly to his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. A year after selling 51% of the company to handset maker HTC for $300 million in August 2011, Dre and his partners bought back half of the half they sold in 2012—and their investment continues to soar in value due to Beats’ whopping 65% market share of the premium ($99 and up) headphone market.

4. Bryan “Birdman” Williams - $150 million: Riding from his Cash Money/Young Money empire. His roster includes Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne (the latter crossed the $100 million threshold for the first time this year, by our estimates, but remains just outside the top five). Birdman also recently launched a YMCMB clothing line and a spirit called GT Vodka.

5. 50 Cent - $125 million: The bulk of his fortune came from heavy sales of his music, merchandise, video games and books in the wake of his smash debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’- and particularly from his payout for the sale of his stake in VitaminWater parent Glacéau to Coca-Cola in 2007.
