Kendrick Lamar performed in Brooklyn last night (Sept. 10th) and the West Coast rapper didn’t waste time addressing a response record from MMG star Meek Mill. Mill released his track “Ooh Kill Em” last week, in response to Kendrick’s “Control” verse.
Lamar made it clear that he isn’t backing down from any challengers.
“I been doing this sh*t for years…I mastered this sh*t,” Lamar reportedly told the crowd. “I have no time for irrelevant n***as [or] new n***as. There’s one n***a in particular that needs to realize that there’s ‘levels’ to this s**t. I’m MOTHER F**KIN’ KING KENDRICK.”
It is being widely speculated that Lamar was referring to Mill, but he could have also been addressing Papoose. Since the show was in New York City and Papoose has responded to Lamar’s boasts of being the “King of New York,” it could be that he was calling out both rappers last night
