It’s all over and City are derby winners for the fourth time in a row thanks to a superb goal from Aguero midway through the second half. Despite Smalling’s red card at the end of the first period, today’s clash was an incredibly close encounter, with United’s makeshift defence putting in a fantastic shift to deny the hosts the opportunity to further their lead. The visitors then became the better side as the game wore on but, despite their best efforts, City’s strong and disciplined defence were just too strong for them to deal with
