Busted: 2 human heads found in Anambra hotel

The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday found two decomposing human heads in a hotel room at Onitsha along Old market road, Anambra state.

The heads were found after a frantic search of every room in the hotel by the police following a tip off and later found the heads in a room close to the office of the owner of the hotel. Also found were two AK-47 rifles loaded with magazines and a military cap.

Nigerian Eye reports:

Contacted about the military cap, the commander 302 Artillery Cantonment Onitsha, Col. T.A. Gagariga, said that the recovery of the Military regalia did not mean that the soldiers must have been involved as such regalia could be procured in the market.

Also reacting, the Onitsha Police Area Commander, Mr. Benjamin Wordu confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect with the items recovered had been transferred to the Special Armed Rubbery Squad, SARS, Awkuzu, for further investigation.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Emeka Chukwuemeka when contacted also confirmed the story stating that Police are still investigating.
