The suspects are to be prosecuted for impersonation and assault.
A 51-year-old woman, Elizabeth Ajibola, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command and is to be arraigned on a six-count charge at the Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta.
The suspect, alongside her househelp, Stephen Yakubu, was alleged to have on Tuesday stormed a house at the Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta, to forcefully eject some tenants.
The woman, who claimed to be a Lagos High Court Judge, was later discovered during police investigation to be an impersonator.
Mrs. Ajibola, a resident of Arobodun Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, in company of the househelp, allegedly assaulted the tenants, and in the process destroyed property and threw away belongings of the victims.
The suspects were arrested after aggrieved tenants, and neighbours put a distress call through to the Ibara Division of the police.
After police investigations, the suspects were charged for six offences, including conspiracy, impersonation, assault, and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
When contacted, the Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed to The Press that the two suspects are to face trial for the charges.
Mr. Adejobi said hearing on the case has been slated for December 5 at the Chief Magistrate Court 1, Isabo, Abeokuta.
